Konstantin Filimonov is born on 11 July 1961, Moscow. He studied at Moscow Secondary Art School from 1973 to 1977 and graduated from the textile design faculty, Moscow Art School in Tkatskaya. He worked at Prof. Ju. Buterov Art Studio from 1977 to 1983, and Art Studio in Dk Mai from 1980 to 1983.
Since 1983, after his serving in the army for a fixed period, he has worked as an artist specialized in graphics and in textile painting, at the same time took part in a number of exhibitions both in Russia and abroad. Since 1990 he has been living in Prague (Czech Republic). From 1990 to 1995 he studied at Karl Sladka’s (professor of the Czech Art Academy) studio on leaving which was given the rank of “Academic Artist” and became a member of the Czech Association of Artists.
Konstantin participated in Moscow art exhibitions since 1983. He held exhibition in Czech Republic, Germany, France and Hungary from 1991.
